Account & profile

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account, then confirm. Your profile, matches, and messages are permanently removed. If you can’t access the app, email support@distilldating.com from the address on your account and we’ll process the deletion within 7 days.

How do I change my email or phone number?

Go to Profile → Settings → Account. If you’ve lost access to the sign-in method on file, email us and we’ll help verify and update it.

How do I reset my password?

Tap “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen and follow the emailed link.

Matches & messaging

Why am I not seeing new matches?

Matches depend on your location, preferences, and who’s recently active nearby. Check your distance and age filters in Settings → Discovery. If it still looks wrong, send us a note with your username.

Someone I matched with disappeared.

Matches can unmatch or deactivate their account at any time. If their profile violated our rules, thank you for helping us catch it.

My AI wingman isn’t responding.

Force-quit the app and reopen. If it persists, email support@distilldating.com with your device model and iOS version.

Safety & reporting

How do I report or block someone?

Open their profile or chat, tap the ··· menu, and choose Report or Block. Reports are reviewed by our safety team. You can also email support@distilldating.com with screenshots.

I think my account was hacked.

Change your password immediately and email support@distilldating.com right away. We’ll lock the account while we investigate.

I saw a fake profile or scam.

Use the in-app report flow and pick Fake profile or Scam / spam. Our trust & safety team acts on every report.

Privacy & data

How do I request my data?

Email admin@distilldating.com from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days per applicable law.

Where can I read your privacy policy?

Our full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are always available on this site.

Billing & subscriptions

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone to view, change, or cancel any Distill plan. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to submit a request.

Technical issues

The app won’t open or keeps crashing.

Make sure you’re on the latest version from the App Store, then restart your device. If that doesn’t help, email support@distilldating.com with your iOS version and iPhone model.

I’m not receiving notifications.

Open iOS Settings → Notifications → Distill and confirm Allow Notifications is on. In-app, check Profile → Settings → Notifications.
